VDOT News - Northern Virginia

FAIRFAX – The ramp from Route 286 (Fairfax County Parkway) South to I-66 East will be closed tomorrow night, Saturday, September 9, from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. for overhead bridge joint work. Traffic will be directed farther south to Route 29, turn left at the second traffic signal to Route 29 North, turn left at the next traffic signal following signs to Route 286 North, then exit to I-66 East.

There will also be intermittent complete closures of the I-66 East Collector-Distributor Lane at Route 286 between midnight and 4 a.m.

This work is part of the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.

All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
